From the Port of Olympia. It would have been really spectacular without the clouds - 10 October 2024

We were about to go to bed when Bob noticed someone on Facebook in our area posting about seeing the Aurora Borealis, so we got dressed and went out. It was very faint with the naked eye, but the camera picked it up with a long exposure. These were all taken at f/2.8. The camera may have picked ups more with my f/1.4 prime lens, but we left in a hurry without it - 7 October 2024

We were camping at the Caribou RV Park in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada and I woke up and thought I saw a green glow in the sky. Taken from the driver's seat with the camera propped against the window frame. I wanted to go out and take better photos, but Bob reminded me that there were grizzly bears in the area - 6 September 2023
